Good Books is a worker-owned, minority, women-led, cooperative, located in Morganton, NC that provides effective, honest, and transparent bilingual bookkeeping services to businesses of all types and sizes. Founded in 2019 by Sharley Mendoza, we work with non-profits, cooperatives, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. We assist the growing number of new businesses in our region. Additionally, we aim to equip underserved communities with financial education in order to root wealth and allow communities to flourish.

Somos un negocio que pertenece a los trabajadores, que brinda servicios contables efectivos, honestos y transparentes a negocios de toda clase y tamaños. Fundada en 2019 por Sharley Mendoza, Trabajamos con organizaciones sin fines de lucro, cooperativas, enprendedores, y negocios pequeños. Existimos para ayudar al crecimiento de nuevos negocios en nuestra región. Además, nuestro objetivo es de equipar a las comunidades desatendidas con educación financiera para enraizar la riqueza y permitir que las comunidades prosperen.     MANAGER / GERENTE

    Marcelina was born and raised in Morganton, North Carolina, she is an honors graduate of Catawba Valley Community College where she obtained an Accounting and Finance Associates degree along with certificates in Accounting General and Accounting Computerized. Marcelina is Quickbooks Certified, prior to joining Good Books, she was employed at a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm. Her financial background serves her well in industry and in her personal life. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and her growing family in an entertaining atmosphere.

    Marcelina nació y creció en Morganton, Carolina del Norte, se graduó con honores de Catawba Valley Community College, donde obtuvo un título asociado en Contabilidad y Finanzas junto con certificados en Contabilidad General y Contabilidad Computarizada. Marcelina está certificada por Quickbooks; antes de unirse a Good Books, trabajó en una firma de Contaduría Pública Certificada (CPA). Su experiencia financiera le resulta útil en la industria y en su vida personal. En su tiempo libre, le gusta estar con amigos y su creciente familia en un ambiente entretenido.
